Training for counselors for employing people with disabilities was held during the period from March 3rd to March 6th, 2020 on the mountain Divčibare, Serbia. Fourteen counselors from different branches from all over Serbia attended the three-day training, with the goal of advancing the knowledge and improving work procedures in counseling people with disabilities. The training covered a wide range of topics which contributed to better understanding of the concept of disability, legislation and practical procedures. The training was organized by female experts from the project ``Technical support for strengthening the capacities in the employment policy``, Aleksandra Grubin, senior non-key expert and Jovana Krivokuća-Milovanović, junior non-key expert.
The training was executed as an integral part of the component 3 which targets the improvement of services and measures which the National Employment Service (NZS) provides for the people with disabilities by practically by implementing the induction package meant for newly-employed counselors of the NSZ who identify and solve the needs of people with disabilities.
The project ``Technical support for strengthening the capacities in the employment policy`` has as its goal a sustainable and inclusive growth for Serbia, by creating a professional and competent cadre. It is of crucial importance for the project to include socially vulnerable population as well.
